Special Educational Needs - Pupil Outcomes
Progress of pupils with Special Educational Needs
The progress of pupils with special educational needs is tracked carefully to ensure these pupils meet expectations. The school undertakes additional assessment of SEN pupils on a termly basis to track reading accuracy, reading comprehension and spelling ages. This data helps to ensure that these pupils are making accelerated gains in these areas and that programmes of intervention are making a difference.
No SATS or National Assessments were undertaken in the academic year 2019/20 due to the Global Coronavirus Pandemic. The last national assessment data undertaken and submitted was in the academic year 2018/19.
